QuantumXHeroes — the next step

QuantumXHeroes is an ART-based project that is dedicated to reminiscing our childhood and reviving our memories.

The QuantumXHeroes community has embraced this project wholeheartedly, and each batch of heroes was sold out within seconds of their release.

This overwhelming response has incentivised the team behind QuantumXHeroes, to work towards finding ways to add even more value to the Heroes, in order to reward the holders for their love and enthusiasm.

Despite this, please be reminded that the project is, and will remain, an exclusively entertainment and art-based endeavour, and one that does not require a long-term roadmap with empty promises.

The QuantumX team is determined to stay reliable and honest and to only commit to what we know we can accomplish.

Thus, we do not market this project as an investment. Instead, we encourage fans to be part of QuantumXHeroes for the unique and exceptional art, the positive team dynamic and the potential for community-driven decision making.

That said, it’s time for the big reveal. We have been working tirelessly over the past few days to bring you some rousing news, and we hope you find it as appealing as we do. QuantumX team has decided to simultaneously apply two approaches, for the development of QuantumXHeroes. The first will be community driven -through a DAH (Decentralised Autonomous Heroes) proposal- and the second will some decisions that have already been made by the QuantumX Team.

Let’s expand the second approach. As many of you may already know, we have implemented a way to give value back to QuantumXHeroes holders, through an SFT comic book that will be eligible to be staked on the QuantumX Staking Contract. This will allow holders to receive rewards from app revenue and 1% from the royalties that will be distributed fortnightly.

What’s next?

We are already working on a new mini dapp/smart contract for the evolution of the existing QuantumXHeroes. This new dapp will be used by existing holders, to upgrade their NFTs. There are several reasons behind this decision:

1. Every superhero must have unique superpower boosts and some attributes such as defence, attack, stamina, etc. These attributes will be used immediately to properly rank the collection, and for future uses (you will find more information about this in the DAH proposal).
2. We want to avoid the possibility of copyright issues as, at the moment, names of famous characters are being used. We will need to erase these data from the NFTs, and some of our AI-created art will need visual changes as well. As this might be conceived as unfair by some holders, we decided to upgrade some of these NFTs to ‘Supreme’ ones (more details follow). Those that will be upgraded early, will get discounted WL if DAH proposal is passed. The process will be very simple. Users will visit the new dapp, and will deposit their QuantumXHeroes. The smart contract will then upgrade the old Heroes, will randomly assign new attributes and powers and will return the new upgraded heroes back to the holders.

It’s worth saying that 80-85% of QuantumXHeroes, will not need a visual change. Finally, as a bonus, a random number of NFTs will be chosen to be upgraded as ‘Supreme’ NFTs’, which will give them a higher rarity. The team decided to not announce this earlier, to avoid biased buying and unnecessary price fluctuations.

P.S. This is an art project with no utility use, therefore, there is no need for a ranking system for the NFTs. We have not created any ranks for our NFTs and will not do so in the future. The ranks you see are automatically generated by marketplaces and hold no value or significance for your NFT. So don’t look at ranks!

What are the “Supremes”?

Upgrading some NFTs to ‘Supreme’, will create a sense of rarity and uniqueness, and make the collection more dynamic. These Supreme Heroes will be visually distinct from other Heroes, as they will have an “X” somewhere on the background of the image. Additionally, Supreme Heroes will have a bonus of 100 points in a randomly selected trait, making them more powerful and valuable than regular Heroes.

When will the upgraded dapp be available?

The NFTs can be bought, sold, and traded on blockchain marketplaces, and we expect that their uniqueness and added value will make them highly sought-after by collectors. The upgraded QuantumXHeroes will be available on around January 20th inside the QuantumX dapp. The upgrade will allow holders to increase the power of their QuantumXHeroes by adding points to their traits, making them stronger and more valuable. The upgraded feature will be accessible within the QuantumX dapp, which is a decentralized application built on blockchain technology. This means that holders will be able to upgrade their heroes in a secure and transparent way. This feature is expected to be highly anticipated by holders, as it will provide new opportunities to improve their heroes and enhance their future experience. Other than that the jump to those v2 Heroes will be essential for the continuation of the project thats why v1 Heroes will not have any perk if not upgraded!

DAH Proposal

QuantumX Network team will create an additional 700 QuantumX Heroes, so in total the collection will consist of 1000 NFTs. The reason behind this proposal is:

• First, the team’s effort to listen and attend to the community’s requests. Since the first batch was issued, the community showed great interest and demand, which was hard to cover with the 300 QuantumXHeroes.
• Second, QuantumX Network team, is thinking of creating a P2P card game that will be played by two players and each player will be participating with 2/3 cards. The players will be using the Heroes’ superpowers and traits to battle against other user’s Heroes. However, it is important to note that this is only an INTENTION to try and create a game and not a guarantee that it will be accomplished. QuantumX Network is, and will remain, our focus.
• To ensure that the game can be played by a larger number of holders, the next minting sessions (3–4 sessions) will be done through our own smart contracts with a whitelist (WL) system in place. The team decided that this is the best way forward so that we can keep the mint price close the market price (at the time before the mint e.g. 0.7 EGLD if the mint was happening now). Additionally, QuantumX Early Supporters, SFT Badge Stakers, and Comic Book Stakers will have priority for the whitelisting and a discounted price of 20% for 30 minutes after the mint is live, with a maximum of 2 NFTs per wallet. After that, there will be a general whitelist with a maximum of 4NFTs per wallet. If the NFTs are not Sold Out, the minting will be made available to the general public. Every new QuantumXHero will have superpowers and trait attributes without the need to be upgraded. Royalties will be kept at 5% permanently and 1% will be awarded to the 300 limited edition SFT comic books that will be staked and to QuantumX loyal supporters.

The QuantumX team will strive to make these little heroes more valuable in any way we can, but always as a side-art project.

If the proposal passes we guarantee the additional 700 NFTs will be the final addition FOR THIS COLLECTION.
